Carrier service changes on the Airlift lanes, explained

Short explainers on carrier service changes that touch the routes Sealanes covers: what the carrier changed, what it means for an importer on that lane, and which schedule to read next. Each note says where its facts come from and what could not be verified.

Reviewed September 2026. Facts come from the carrier’s own notice or from two independent trade-press reports. Each note lists its sources and what we couldn’t verify.

MSC Indus Express: the June suspension, the reported comeback, and Indusa's return to Suez

Effective August 2026 · Confirmed by ONE's customer notice of 9 July 2026 and two trade-press reports

How these notes are written

We write a note when a carrier changes a service on a route Sealanes covers: a new port order (rotation), a new routing, a start or a stop. Each note states what the carrier said and when, kept separate from what it means for an importer.

Where we couldn’t read the carrier’s own notice, the note says so and names the reports it relies on instead. Nothing here is a rate, a guarantee of space or a guaranteed transit time.

The sailing tables on the route, carrier and service pages come from the carriers’ published schedules. A service that hasn’t appeared in that feed yet links to its carrier page instead of a service page.
