Sailings and services through Vancouver on Airlift Sealanes
Published carrier schedules for the Airlift port pairs that start or end here, as of the 2026-09-18 snapshot. Each pair page lists the carriers, services, vessels and transit days; the Sealanes port page for Vancouver lists every service calling here and the scheduled arrivals and departures.
CAVAN is the code you will normally see for Vancouver on carrier paperwork. Bookings and bills of lading print the port of loading and port of discharge as UN/LOCODEs, and carrier schedule and tracking feeds use them too. The first two letters, CA, are the ISO 3166-1 country code for Canada; the last three identify the place.
A UN/LOCODE names a place, not a berth. Where a port city has several container terminals, UNECE often gives the terminals their own codes alongside the city code, so a booking can legitimately show a code you didn’t expect. Take the code from the carrier booking, not the one that looks most like the port name.
Schedule D codes exist only for US ports, so Vancouver doesn’t have one. If Vancouver is your origin, the Schedule D code that matters is your US port of entry’s: every US port page in this tool shows it where CBP publishes one.

Each lane guide lists the port pairs Airlift moves, with typical schedule-dependent transit ranges from our own shipment history, commodity notes and customs requirements.
Each pair page has the port-to-port planning range from its lane guide (where one is published), routing notes, live sailings where the schedule feed has them, and a quote form with the route already filled in.
