Our second Delhi office is in Saidulajab, off Westend Marg in south Delhi, on the side of the city that faces Gurugram and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). It is close to south and west Delhi and to the Haryana border, where the Gurugram and Manesar industrial belt makes auto components and engineering goods, and the garment export houses of Gurugram ship apparel on tight season deadlines.
A lot of that cargo flies. For sea freight, the inland container depot on the Gurugram side of the region is Gateway Distriparks' ICD at Garhi Harsaru, with rail links to the Gujarat and Mumbai ports; CONCOR's ICD Tughlakabad in south-east Delhi is the other common choice. Containers then sail from Mundra, Pipavav or Nhava Sheva.
The office books air, FCL and LCL shipments to the United States. Airlift's other Delhi office is at Nehru Place; either can quote. The US customs entry is filed through licensed customs brokers, and our US offices see the shipment through to delivery.
Importer Security Filing (ISF): filed by Airlift USA as the NVOCC at least 24 hours before the container loads in India.
US customs clearance on arrival: the entry is filed through Airlift USA's licensed customs-broker network, under a power of attorney from the importer of record.
