Airlift's New Delhi office, at Nehru Place, is a freight forwarder for Delhi NCR exporters shipping to the USA, Canada and Mexico. It books FCL and LCL railed from ICD Tughlakabad, Patparganj or Dadri to the Gujarat and Mumbai ports, air freight from Delhi airport (DEL), and pickup and Indian export clearance; Airlift USA handles the ISF, the US entry through licensed customs brokers and delivery.
Delhi and the National Capital Region have no seaport, so export containers are stuffed and customs-cleared at an inland container depot and railed to the west coast. The main depots in Delhi are CONCOR's ICD Tughlakabad, a few kilometers from our Nehru Place office, and ICD Patparganj in east Delhi; CONCOR's ICD Dadri in Greater Noida serves the eastern side of the region and runs double-stack trains to Mundra on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. From these depots, containers sail from Mundra, Pipavav or Nhava Sheva.
The region exports garments, handicrafts and home furnishings, auto components, engineering goods and electronics, and much of it by air. Air freight moves through the cargo terminals at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
Our New Delhi office books FCL, LCL and air shipments to the United States. For the US end, our offices in New Jersey and Los Angeles file the Importer Security Filing, arrange the customs entry with licensed customs brokers and deliver to the consignee.
LCL consolidation from Delhi: smaller shipments share a container with other exporters' cargo, under Airlift's house bill of lading.
Air freight from Delhi: air exports to US airports from Delhi airport (DEL), booked with Airlift's airline partners.
Pickup and export clearance in Delhi: factory pickup, container stuffing and Indian export clearance, including the shipping bill filed on ICEGATE.
Importer Security Filing (ISF): filed by Airlift USA as the NVOCC at least 24 hours before the container loads in India.
US customs clearance on arrival: the entry is filed through Airlift USA's licensed customs-broker network, under a power of attorney from the importer of record.
New Delhi is an Airlift group office in India. It handles the export end of the India to USA, USA to India, India to Canada and India to Mexico lanes: export bookings, cargo pickup coordination and export documentation.
The India lane guides publish transit times from Kolkata, Cochin, Ennore, Hazira, Mangalore, Kattupalli, Chennai, Mundra, Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva), Pipavav and Tuticorin. Cargo from New Delhi ships through whichever of those ports suits the routing.
